AboutAlissa Empey is an illustrator based in Northern Idaho, USA. She earned her BFA in Illustration from Brigham Young University - Idaho. She is an active member of the SCBWI.
She works primarily digitally, but also loves any excuse to pull out her watercolors, colored pencils, and sketchbook. Her artwork is inspired by nature, literature, and the children in her life. If you can catch her not drawing or painting, she might be exploring nature with her family, hiding under a blanket reading a book, or attempting to talk a picky child into eating his dinner. Alissa is diligently working on becoming the best version of herself, and she is passionate about finding joy in every day. |
